Getting There

  • Car

    If you have a rental car, start from the main town of Isabel Segunda. Head southeast on Route 200, following signs for Mosquito Pier. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach a fork; take the right fork which will lead you to Route 201. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes, and then turn left onto the unpaved road leading directly to Mosquito Pier. Look for the signs indicating the pier. There is no formal parking area, but you can park along the side of the road.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take the public 'guagua' (minibus) from Isabel Segunda to the Mosquito Pier area. The guagua departs frequently, and you can catch it from the main square in Isabel Segunda. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mosquito Pier. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the pier if the guagua does not drop you directly at the entrance.

  • Walking/Biking

    If you're staying nearby, you can also walk or bike to Mosquito Pier. From the town of Esperanza, head east along the coast road, following the shoreline. This scenic route takes about 45 minutes to an hour on foot or 15-20 minutes by bike. Make sure to take plenty of water and wear sunscreen, as this route has limited shade.
