Walking
If you are in the town center of Guánica, start at Plaza de Recreo, the central square. Head southwest on Calle Rayo for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Montalvo. Turn left on Calle Montalvo and continue for another 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Route 116. Cross the road carefully and continue straight onto Route 116. After walking for about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Guánica State Forest on your left. Follow the signs into the forest entrance.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the main bus terminal in Guánica, take the local bus that heads towards the Playa de Guánica. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop for Guánica State Forest. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to the entrance of Guánica State Forest, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you have access to a bike rental in Guánica, you can cycle to Guánica State Forest. Start from the main square and head southwest on Calle Rayo, then take a left onto Calle Montalvo.
