Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the center of Guánica, head towards the main road (PR-116). Walk northwest on Calle Betances until you reach PR-116. Turn left onto PR-116 and continue straight for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs indicating La Parguera; you will pass some local shops and eateries along the way which can provide a nice break. Once you reach the entrance to La Parguera, follow the signs into the village.

  • Public Bus

    From the main square in Guánica, locate the bus stop where the local guaguas (buses) depart. Take the bus heading towards La Parguera. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at La Parguera. Once you arrive, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the waterfront area.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Guánica. Start by heading north on Calle Betances until you reach PR-116.
