Getting There

Walking
From the main square of Isabela (Plaza de Isabela), head northwest on Avenida Juan Ponce de León. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 2. At this intersection, turn left onto Route 2 and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Guajataca Lake; continue following these signs. After another 500 meters, you will arrive at Guajataca Lake. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes.

If you are near the Isabela beach area, start by cycling along the coast on Route 466. Follow the coastline for about 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 2. Turn left onto Route 2 and cycle for about 1 kilometer. Look for signs directing you to Guajataca Lake on your right. The total cycling distance is about 4 kilometers, and it should take roughly 15-20 minutes.

From the Isabela bus terminal, take the local bus heading towards Aguadilla. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Guajataca Lake stop (the driver will know this location). The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus stop, follow the path leading to Guajataca Lake, which is just a short walk away.
