Peña Blanca Beach: A Hidden Gem in Aguadilla

Getting There

• Bus

  From any central point in Isabela, find the nearest bus stop that services the Aguadilla route. Look for the buses labeled 'Aguadilla' or 'Aguadilla Centro'. Board the bus and stay on until you reach Aguadilla Centro. From Aguadilla Centro, ask the driver or locals for directions to Unnamed Rd. Once you get off the bus, walk in the direction of the beach signs. Peña Blanca Beach is approximately a 15-minute walk from Aguadilla Centro.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Isabela towards Aguadilla. Start at the main road, Route 2, heading west. It’s about a 5-mile ride. Follow the signs towards Aguadilla. Once you reach Aguadilla, look for Unnamed Rd. and follow it straight to Peña Blanca Beach. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, start from the Isabela Plaza. Head west along Route 2. After about 2 miles, you will reach the intersection with Route 107. Continue straight on Route 107 until you reach Aguadilla. Once you arrive in Aguadilla, ask locals for Unnamed Rd. The beach is about a 15-minute walk from Aguadilla Centro. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the walk is quite long.

• Taxi

  You can hire a taxi from anywhere in Isabela to take you directly to Peña Blanca Beach. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Just tell the driver to drop you off at Unnamed Rd. in Aguadilla, and they will know the location.
