Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Luquillo Beach area, head east along the coastal road (PR-193). Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Bahía Bioluminiscente. Look for signs indicating the bay. Once you reach the intersection, turn left and follow the road until you see the entrance to the bay.

• Bicycle

  From the main tourist area in Luquillo, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Cycle east along PR-193 towards the Bahía Bioluminiscente. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to follow the road signs towards the bay, and be cautious of any traffic. Once you see the signs for the bay, park your bicycle and walk to the entrance.

• Public Bus

  Locate the nearest bus stop along PR-193. Take the public bus that heads towards Fajardo. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at the Bahía Bioluminiscente stop. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the path leading to the bay entrance.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer not to walk, you can request a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Luquillo. Provide the driver with the address '00765' or mention 'Bahía Bioluminiscente'. The drive will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the bay.
