If you are at the Luquillo Beach area, start by heading east along the main road (PR-193). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with PR-988. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing towards El Yunque National Forest. Turn onto PR-988 and walk for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance of El Yunque. From there, continue walking along the dirt trail that leads to the Natural Water Slide. The trail will take you through lush vegetation and streams, and you should follow the signs to the slide. It will take roughly 30 to 45 minutes to reach the slide from the beach.

Public Transportation
From Luquillo, you can take a local bus (guagua) that heads towards Fajardo. Board the guagua that stops at the main bus terminal in Luquillo. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of El Yunque National Forest. Once you get off the bus, follow the same path described for walking from the beach, heading along PR-988 towards the Natural Water Slide. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the slide will take about 30 to 45 minutes.

Bike Rental
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Luquillo. Start from the rental shop and cycle east along PR-193. After about 1 mile, turn onto PR-988 towards El Yunque National Forest. Biking will allow you to cover the distance faster, taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes to reach the entrance of the forest, and then you can follow the trail to the Natural Water Slide, which will take an additional 20 minutes.
