If you're driving, start from the main entrance of the Caribbean National Forest, often accessed via Route 191. Head east on PR-191 until you reach the junction with PR-3. Turn left onto PR-3 and continue for about 5 miles. Look for the signs indicating Luquillo and PR-983. Turn onto PR-983 and drive for approximately 6.4 km. Hacienda Monte Rey will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for the forest, but note that parking may have a fee depending on the area you choose.
