Experience La Monseratte Beach

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in Luquillo and want to reach La Monseratte Beach, start at the Luquillo Beach kiosks area. Head east along the PR-193 road, passing by the kiosks on your left. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 3. At this point, you will see signs directing you towards La Monseratte Beach. Cross Route 3 carefully and continue heading east on the PR-193. You will find the entrance to La Monseratte Beach on your right after approximately 5 minutes of walking.

  • Public Bus

    From any point in Luquillo, locate the nearest bus stop along Route 3. Take the public bus that heads towards Fajardo and tell the driver you want to get off at La Monseratte Beach. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, walk a short distance to the beach entrance, which will be on your left.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Luquillo. Start your journey from the main plaza area and head east on PR-193.
