To reach Vieques National Wildlife Refuge, you first need to take a ferry from the main island of Puerto Rico to Vieques. Head to the Fajardo Ferry Terminal, which is about a 15-minute taxi ride from Luquillo. Once at the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Vieques. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Vieques Ferry Terminal, you will be in the town of Isabel Segunda. From there, you can take a taxi or a local bus to get to the wildlife refuge.
