Bus
To reach La Piedra Escrita, take the public bus from the central bus terminal in Manatí. Look for the bus heading towards Jayuya. The bus ride should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to La Piedra Escrita, and they will let you know when to get off. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, walk approximately 10 minutes along Carretera 144 until you reach the attraction.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Manatí. Start your ride from the town square and head towards the main road, connecting to Carretera 144. The ride to La Piedra Escrita will take around 30-50 minutes, depending on your pace. Follow the signs to Jayuya, and keep an eye out for La Piedra Escrita on your left as you approach the 7.3 km mark.
Walking
If you enjoy walking and are feeling adventurous, you can walk from central Manatí to La Piedra Escrita. The distance is approximately 5-6 kilometers. Start from the main plaza and head towards Carretera 144, following the road signs towards Jayuya. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, as the path may be sunny.
