If you're driving, start from Ponce and take PR-2 West towards San Germán. Merge onto PR-116 and follow signs for PR-2 towards Guánica. Continue until you reach PR-333, which will lead you directly to Guánica State Forest. Look for the entrance sign on your right. The park is open daily from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

To reach Guánica State Forest by public transportation, take a bus from Ponce to Guánica. Look for the buses marked 'Guánica' at the main bus terminal. Once you arrive in Guánica, you might need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the state forest as public transport options may be limited in that area. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they can drop you off at the entrance of Guánica State Forest.

From the town of Lajas, head northeast on PR-116 until you reach the junction with PR-333. Turn onto PR-333, which will take you directly to Guánica State Forest. Keep an eye out for park entrance signs along the way.
