Car
If you are driving from the South Region of Puerto Rico, you will want to take Route 52 North towards San Juan. Continue on Route 52 for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the exit for Route 22 towards Bayamón. Follow Route 22 until you come to the interchange with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and continue for about 15 kilometers. Finally, take the exit for C. la Vía in Arecibo. Follow C. la Vía until you reach the coordinates F9P3+5FQ, where El Morro is located. Be aware that parking may require a fee, typically around $5.

Public Transportation
To reach El Morro via public transportation, first, make your way to the nearest bus terminal that serves the southern region, such as the Terminal de Carros Públicos in Ponce or the one in Guayama. From there, take a bus heading to San Juan. Once you arrive in San Juan, you can transfer to a local bus (such as the D-18 or D-19) that goes towards Arecibo. Get off at the stop closest to C. la Vía. From there, it will be approximately a 15-minute walk to El Morro. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they can vary, and the fare should be around $2.50.
