Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from San Juan, take Route 22 West towards Arecibo. Continue on Route 22 for about 75 km (around 1 hour). Take the exit toward Quebradillas (Exit 82) and merge onto Route 113. Follow Route 113 until you reach the center of Quebradillas. From the town center, follow signs to Guajataca, which is located just northwest of the town. The final destination will be on your left. Make sure to look for parking areas nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Guajataca via public transportation, first take a public car (carro público) from the main bus terminal in San Juan to Aguadilla. This ride typically takes about 2 hours. Once in Aguadilla, transfer to another carro público heading towards Quebradillas. Inform the driver that you want to go to Guajataca. The total travel time may take approximately 3 hours, depending on wait times and transfers. Be sure to ask the driver for the nearest drop-off point to Guajataca, and they will assist you.

    If you are coming from Rincon, take Route 115 heading north until you reach Route 2. Turn left on Route 2 and then merge onto Route 22 toward Quebradillas. Take Exit 82 and continue on Route 113 to reach Quebradillas. Once in the town, follow the signs to Guajataca, which is located just northwest of the town center.
