Merge onto US-1 S and follow it for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward RI-138 E/Newport. Continue on RI-138 E for about 6 miles, following the signs for Newport. As you approach Newport, stay on the left to merge onto RI-238 S, which becomes Ocean Drive. Brenton Point State Park will be on your left at the address Ocean Drive, Newport, RI 02840. Parking is available on site, and there is no entrance fee.
