Getting There

  • Car

    From Beavertail State Park, head northwest on Beavertail Road towards the intersection with Jamestown Road. Continue straight to merge onto RI-138 W. Follow RI-138 W for about 6 miles until you reach the traffic circle. Take the 1st exit onto RI-1 S, and continue on this road for approximately 5 miles. Merge onto I-95 N towards Providence. After about 10 miles, take exit 22A for Memorial Blvd toward Downtown. Continue on Memorial Blvd for about 1 mile, and you will find Waterplace Park on your right.

    From Beavertail State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Beavertail Road. Catch the 14 bus towards Kingston. After approximately 30 minutes, transfer at the Kingston train station to the train heading to Providence. After around 25 minutes on the train, disembark at the Providence station. From the station, you can walk for about 15 minutes to Waterplace Park by heading south on Exchange Street, then turning left onto Memorial Blvd.
