Car
From the entrance of Beavertail State Park, head northwest on Beavertail Road. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with East Shore Road. Turn left onto East Shore Road and follow it for approximately 1 mile. You will then take a right onto a small road leading to Windmill Hill Historic District, which is well-marked. There is no fee for parking in the vicinity of the historic district.

Take the RIPTA bus service to Jamestown. The closest bus stop is located at the intersection of North Road and East Shore Road, which is about 2 miles from Beavertail State Park. From there, you can walk along East Shore Road. Head south for about 2 miles, enjoying the scenic views. Follow the signs to Windmill Hill Historic District. Note that walking may take approximately 40 minutes, so plan accordingly.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Jamestown. Start from the Beavertail State Park entrance and ride northwest on Beavertail Road.
