    From the Block Island Ferry terminal, head southwest on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn left onto Chapel Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn right onto Ocean Avenue and continue walking until you reach the scenic views of the beach. Follow Ocean Avenue, and then take a left onto the road that leads to the Old Harbor area. Once you reach the Old Harbor, look for the ferry services that will take you to Newport, Rhode Island. After arriving in Newport, head southwest on America’s Cup Avenue, then make a left onto Fort Adams Drive. Fort Adams State Park will be on your right at 80 Fort Adams Dr.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Block Island. From the ferry terminal, ride along Water Street until you reach the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn left onto Chapel Street, then right onto Ocean Avenue. Continue biking along Ocean Avenue with the beautiful coastline on your left. Follow the road until you see the signs for the ferry dock to Newport. Board the ferry and enjoy the short ride to Newport. Once you arrive in Newport, bike along America’s Cup Avenue and turn left on Fort Adams Drive, where you will find Fort Adams State Park on your right.
