    To reach Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park from the Block Island Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and head east on Water Street. Continue straight onto Chapel Street until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left on High Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue until you reach the end where it meets Park Avenue. Turn right onto Park Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at the corner of Park Avenue and Monument Street.

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near the ferry terminal. Start your journey by heading east on Water Street, then continue onto Chapel Street. At High Street, turn left. Ride down High Street until you reach Ocean Avenue, then turn left again. Follow Ocean Avenue to Park Avenue, turn right, and bike down Park Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park, located at the corner of Park Avenue and Monument Street.
