If you are driving to the USS Nautilus from anywhere in Windham County, take I-395 S towards Norwich. Merge onto CT-2 S and continue on this road. Take the exit for I-95 S towards New Haven. Follow I-95 S and take exit 86 for CT-349 toward Groton. After exiting, turn left onto CT-349 N, which becomes Crystal Lake Rd. The USS Nautilus will be on your right at 1 Crystal Lake Rd, Groton, CT 06340. Parking is available on site.
Public Transportation
To reach the USS Nautilus via public transportation, take the Southeastern Connecticut Transit District (SECTD) bus service from your location in Windham County to the New London train station. From there, board a Metro-North or Amtrak train to Groton. Once you arrive at the Groton train station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi or rideshare service to 1 Crystal Lake Rd, Groton, CT 06340. Be sure to check the train and bus schedules in advance for the most accurate timings.
