If you are driving, start from Block Island Ferry Terminal located at 1 High St, Block Island, RI. Head north on High St toward Water St, then turn left onto Water St. Continue onto Old Town Rd. Follow signs for the ferry terminal and board the ferry to Point Judith, Narragansett, RI. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Point Judith, you can drive north on Ocean Rd for about 1 mile to reach Point Judith Lighthouse at 1470 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. Please note that parking may be available at the lighthouse but can fill up quickly during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
If you are taking public transportation, you can start at the Block Island Ferry Terminal on High St, where you can catch the ferry to Point Judith. After a 30-minute ride, you will arrive at the Point Judith ferry terminal. From there, you can take a local bus or taxi to Point Judith Lighthouse. The bus is a cost-effective option, but be sure to check the current schedule, as it may vary. The lighthouse is approximately 1 mile from the ferry terminal, so if you prefer, you can also walk along Ocean Rd to reach your destination, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
