Getting There

  • Car

    From the Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, head west on Trustom Pond Road. Continue onto Succotash Road. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Moonstone Beach Road. Follow Moonstone Beach Road for approximately 1 mile, and you'll arrive at Moonstone Beach. There is a small parking area available, and parking is free.

  • Public Transportation

    Take the RIPTA bus #14 from the nearest bus stop to Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge. Ride the bus towards Point Judith. Get off at the stop for Moonstone Beach Road. From the bus stop, walk about 0.5 miles down Moonstone Beach Road to reach the beach entrance. Please check the RIPTA website for current schedules and fares.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can cycle from the Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge by taking Trustom Pond Road to Succotash Road, then turning onto Moonstone Beach Road.
