Walking
If you are starting from the Block Island Ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the main street, Water Street. Turn left onto Water Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Spring Street. Turn right onto Spring Street and proceed to the top of the hill. At the next intersection, turn left onto Old Town Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corn Neck Road. Turn right onto Corn Neck Road. Follow Corn Neck Road for about 1.5 miles. Frederick J. Benson Town Beach will be on your left at 7 Corn Neck Rd. Look for the beach access points along the road.
Biking
If you have rented a bike, start from the Block Island Ferry terminal and head east on Water Street. Turn left onto Spring Street and bike uphill until you reach Old Town Road. Turn left onto Old Town Road and continue biking straight until you reach Corn Neck Road. Turn right onto Corn Neck Road, and bike approximately 1.5 miles. You will see Frederick J. Benson Town Beach on your left at 7 Corn Neck Rd. There are bike racks available near the beach.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Block Island Ferry terminal, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Block Island Bus Service. Board the bus heading towards the beach. The bus will take you directly to the stop closest to Frederick J. Benson Town Beach. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the beach entrance located at 7 Corn Neck Rd. Check the local bus schedule for the latest timings.
