If you are in the main area of New Shoreham, start at the Block Island Ferry Terminal. Head south on Water Street towards the intersection with Chapel Street. Turn right onto Chapel Street, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Old Town Road. Turn left onto Old Town Road, and follow it as it leads you through the town. Continue straight on Old Town Road as it becomes West Side Road. After about a mile, you will see a sign for Nathan Mott Park on your right. The park entrance is a short walk from the road.

Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in New Shoreham. Start your journey from the rental shop and head south on Water Street. Turn right onto Chapel Street, then left onto Old Town Road. Continue straight on Old Town Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach West Side Road. Look for the sign for Nathan Mott Park on your right. The park entrance is easily accessible from West Side Road.
