From any location within Burlingame State Park, head southeast toward the exit of the park on Burlingame State Park Road. Turn left onto Route 1 (Post Road) and continue for approximately 5 miles. Once you reach the intersection with Route 1A, turn right onto Route 1A (East Beach Road). Follow East Beach Road for about 3 miles. Blue Shutters Beach will be on your left at 469 E Beach Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813.

If you are relying on public transportation, you will first need to get to a bus stop on Route 1. From Burlingame State Park, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus stop on Route 1 (Post Road). Once you are at the bus stop, take the RIPTA Bus #14 towards Narragansett. Get off at the stop closest to Route 1A (East Beach Road). From there, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to Blue Shutters Beach at 469 E Beach Rd, Charlestown, RI.
