Car
From the main entrance of Burlingame State Park, head east on Burlingame State Park Road towards US-1. Turn left onto US-1 North. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you see the exit for RI-91 toward Westerly. Merge onto RI-91 and follow it for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with Kettle Circle. Turn left onto Kettle Circle and follow the road until you reach 5 Kettle Cl, where Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park is located.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking the RIPTA bus service from the nearest stop within Burlingame State Park. You will need to catch Bus #66 towards Westerly. After a ride of about 20 minutes, disembark at the Walmart (West of Westerly). From there, you can either call a local taxi service or use a rideshare app to reach Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park at 5 Kettle Cl, which is approximately 2 miles away.
Walking
If you are already in a nearby area of Westerly or at the Walmart stop mentioned above, walking to Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park is a feasible option. Head northwest on Route 1 (US-1) for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Kettle Circle. Continue on Kettle Circle for about 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to Dr. John Champlin Glacier Park.
