    From any location in Burlingame State Park, head northwest on Burlingame State Park Road toward Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 North. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 14 miles. Take the exit toward Route 138 East/Newport. Merge onto Route 138 East and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit for Jamestown and follow signs for Route 1A South. Continue on Route 1A South for about 5 miles until you reach Fort Wetherill State Park, located at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835.
