    From the center of Burlingame State Park, head south on Burlingame State Park Rd towards Old Post Rd. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Old Post Rd (RI-1A). Continue on RI-1A for approximately 8 miles. As you approach Jamestown, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Fort Wetherill State Park. Turn right onto Fort Wetherill Rd, and you will find the park entrance on your left at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd.

    From Burlingame State Park, use a rideshare service or taxi to reach the nearest bus stop, which is at Old Post Rd and RI-1A. Take the RIPTA Bus Route 14 towards Newport. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at East Shore Rd & Fort Wetherill Rd. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles) down Fort Wetherill Rd to the park entrance at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd.
