Bus
To reach Kingscote at 253 Bellevue Ave, Newport, RI from East Greenwich, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the RIPTA Route 60 bus towards Newport. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Newport Visitor Center stop. From there, walk towards America’s Cup Avenue and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach Bellevue Avenue. Turn right onto Bellevue Avenue, and you will find Kingscote on your left within a short walk.
Bike
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local shop in East Greenwich. Start from the center of East Greenwich and head south on Main Street. Connect to Route 1A and follow it towards Newport. This scenic ride will take about 50 minutes. Once you reach Newport, continue to Bellevue Avenue. Kingscote is located at 253 Bellevue Ave, which is just a few minutes from the main road.
Walking
If you’re up for a long walk, you can walk from East Greenwich to Newport. Start from the center of East Greenwich and head towards Route 1A. Follow this road for about 5 miles, crossing the bridge into Newport. Once in Newport, continue straight until you reach Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue and walk for about 1 mile. Kingscote will be on your left at 253 Bellevue Ave. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
