    Car

    If you are driving from Warwick, head southeast on I-95 S. Take exit 3A for RI-4 S toward South Kingstown. Continue on RI-4 S, which will merge into US-1 S. Follow US-1 S for about 15 miles until you reach the exit for RI-138 E toward Jamestown/Newport. Merge onto RI-138 E and continue for about 7 miles. Follow signs for Newport and merge onto US-1 S. Finally, take the exit toward Ocean Drive. Follow Ocean Drive for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Brenton Point State Park on your right.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Brenton Point State Park using public transportation, start at the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus stop nearest to you. Take the Bus #60 towards Newport. Once you arrive in Newport, transfer to Bus #67 towards Ocean Drive. The bus will take you along Ocean Drive, and you should get off at the stop closest to Brenton Point State Park. From there, it is a short walk to the park entrance.
