If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on I-95 from any point in Kent County. Take exit 9 for RI-4 S toward North Kingstown. Continue on RI-4 S and merge onto US-1 S. Follow US-1 S to RI-138 E. Stay on RI-138 E until you reach the Jamestown Bridge. Cross the bridge into Jamestown, and then turn left onto Beavertail Road. Follow Beavertail Road until you arrive at the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum, located at Beavertail Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835. Note that parking is available at the museum.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from anywhere in Kent County to the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority's (RIPTA) bus terminal. From there, take Bus Route 14 towards Jamestown. The bus will take you to Jamestown, and you will need to get off at the nearest stop to Beavertail Road. After you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along North Main Road and then onto Beavertail Road to reach the museum. Be sure to check the RIPTA schedule for bus times, as service may vary.
