Car
If you are driving to Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge from the Narragansett area, take Route 1 South. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 14 miles. Look for signs for Charlestown and take the exit for Route 1A South. After exiting, follow Route 1A for about 3 miles until you reach the refuge entrance on your left. There is no entrance fee to access the refuge.

Public Transportation
To reach Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #14 from Narragansett. This bus will take you toward Wakefield. You will need to transfer to bus #66 at the Wakefield Transportation Center, which goes toward Charlestown. Get off at the nearest stop to the refuge, which may require some walking. Note that public transportation schedules can vary, so check the RIPTA website for the latest timetables. Be aware that there might be a cost for each bus ride, typically around $2 for a single fare.

For those who prefer biking, you can cycle from Narragansett to Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge. Take the scenic roads along Route 1A, which is approximately 17 miles. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules. The route may have some busy sections, so plan accordingly. There are bike racks available at the refuge.
