Car
If you're driving from Narragansett Beach, head northwest on Ocean Road toward Narragansett Avenue. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach the junction with Route 138. Merge onto Route 138 North and continue for approximately 6 miles. Take the exit for Jamestown and merge onto North Road. Follow North Road, which becomes Fort Wetherill Road. Continue on Fort Wetherill Road for about 1 mile, and you'll arrive at Fort Wetherill State Park, located at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835.
Public Transportation
To get to Fort Wetherill State Park using public transportation, first, take the RIPTA bus #14 from Narragansett Beach. You can catch the bus at any nearby bus stop along Ocean Road. Ride the bus toward the Wickford Junction for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Route 138 North. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Fort Wetherill State Park. Head north on North Road, then turn left onto Fort Wetherill Road, and follow it until you reach the park entrance at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835.
