Walking
From Narragansett, start at the Narragansett Town Beach. Head northwest on Ocean Road towards the intersection with South Pier Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1A. Turn left onto Route 1A and follow it north. After about 3.5 miles, you will enter Newport. Continue on Route 1A until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and walk for about 0.3 miles. The Battery St Waterfront Public Access Point will be on your right at 107 Washington St. Enjoy the scenic view!

Take the RIPTA bus #14 from the Narragansett Park and Ride. The bus will take you directly to Newport. Get off at the stop at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to bus #67 towards the Newport Waterfront. Exit the bus at the stop near Washington Street. Walk east on Washington Street for about 0.2 miles and you will arrive at the Battery St Waterfront Public Access Point located at 107 Washington St.
