Public Bus
From Narragansett, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Point Judith Road and Boston Neck Road. Board the RIPTA Route 14 bus heading towards Newport. The bus will take you along the scenic coastal route. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at Memorial Blvd & Ocean Ave in Newport. From the bus stop, walk north on Ocean Ave until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Dr. Turn left onto Lincoln Dr, and the Eisenhower House will be on your left at 1 Lincoln Dr.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Narragansett. Start your journey by riding west on Ocean Road towards the town of Narragansett. Continue onto Narragansett Ave until you reach the intersection with South Pier Rd, then take a right. Follow South Pier Rd until it merges into Route 138. Stay on Route 138, which will lead you into Newport. Once you enter Newport, continue straight onto Memorial Blvd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Lincoln Dr, and the Eisenhower House will be on your left.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start at the Narragansett Town Beach. Head north on Narragansett Ave and continue until you reach the intersection with Ocean Road. Turn right onto Ocean Road and follow it until you reach the Newport Bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue walking straight on Memorial Blvd. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Lincoln Dr, and you will find the Eisenhower House at 1 Lincoln Dr on your left.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct and convenient option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 1 Lincoln Dr, Newport, RI 02840. The driver will take you directly to the Eisenhower House, and the journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
