From Narragansett, head to the nearest bus stop to catch the RIPTA bus route 66 towards Providence. The bus will take you directly to downtown Providence. Once you arrive at the Kennedy Plaza bus terminal, transfer to route 1 or route 50, both of which will take you closer to the Providence River Walk. Get off at the 'Waterplace Park' stop. From there, walk east towards the river, and you will see the entrance to the Providence River Walk.

If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Narragansett. Start by heading north on Ocean Road until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue for approximately 5 miles until you reach the area of Providence. When you arrive in Providence, follow the bike paths that lead towards downtown. Look for signs directing you to the Providence River Walk, which runs along the river.
