If you're driving, head towards Jamestown, which is located just a short distance from Newport. From Newport, take RI-138 W towards Jamestown. Continue on RI-138 W until you reach the Jamestown Bridge. After crossing the bridge, stay on RI-138 W, then take the exit towards Beavertail State Park. Follow the signs to Beavertail Rd, and keep going until you reach the park entrance. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee to park.

For those using public transportation, take the RIPTA bus #60 from Newport to Jamestown. The bus typically departs from the Newport Gateway Center. Once you arrive in Jamestown, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Beavertail State Park. Head north on Narragansett Ave, then turn left onto Beavertail Rd.
