Continue on Route 114 for about 9 miles. Colt State Park will be on your right, just before you reach the town of Bristol. Look for the entrance marked with signs for Colt State Park. There is no admission fee to enter the park.

    To reach Colt State Park using public transportation, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) Bus Route 60 from Newport. The bus will take you towards Bristol. Get off at the stop near Route 114. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk to the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate timings. As of the latest information, a single bus fare costs $2.00.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike to Colt State Park, you can follow the scenic bike paths starting from downtown Newport.
