Public Transportation
To reach Gillette Stadium from downtown Pawtucket, you can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus. Start at the Pawtucket Transit Center and board the #1 bus heading towards Providence. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the Kennedy Plaza bus terminal in Providence. From Kennedy Plaza, transfer to the #66 bus towards Foxborough. This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop that is closest to the Gillette Stadium, usually at Patriot Place. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the stadium entrance.
Walking and Train
If you prefer to walk, start from Pawtucket and head to the nearest train station, which is the Pawtucket/Central Falls train station. It’s about a 20-minute walk from downtown Pawtucket. Once there, you can take the MBTA commuter train towards South Station in Boston. Get off at the Attleboro station, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. From the Attleboro station, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare service to Gillette Stadium, which is about a 15-minute drive away.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider biking to Gillette Stadium. Start from downtown Pawtucket and head south towards the Blackstone River Greenway. Follow the greenway to the south until you reach the area close to Foxborough. You will then need to navigate local roads to reach the stadium. The total distance is about 9 miles and should take around 45-60 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
