    From Pawtucket, walk to the nearest bus stop for the RIPTA bus line. You can catch the Route 60 bus towards Newport. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive in Newport, get off at the stop closest to Bellevue Avenue. From there, walk along Bellevue Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach Rough Point at 680 Bellevue Ave.

  • Train and Bus

    Head to the Pawtucket/Central Falls train station and take the MBTA train towards Wickford Junction. After a 20-minute ride, disembark at the Wickford Junction station. From there, transfer to a RIPTA bus (Route 60) heading toward Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Bellevue Avenue stop and walk about 10 minutes to Rough Point located at 680 Bellevue Ave.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike in Pawtucket. Start by heading south on Main Street, then turn onto the East Bay Bike Path. Follow the path along the waterfront towards Bristol and continue until you reach Newport. Once in Newport, navigate to Bellevue Avenue and bike for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Rough Point at 680 Bellevue Ave.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Pawtucket and head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the East Bay Bike Path. Follow the path along the water to the Newport Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue walking on the path which leads you into Newport. From there, head towards Bellevue Avenue and Rough Point located at 680 Bellevue Ave. This is a lengthy walk, approximately 2-3 hours, but it's a scenic route.
