Getting There

Walking

From the center of Westerly, head south on High Street toward Canal Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and walk for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the West Kingston train station. From here, catch a southbound train to Newport. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Newport station, exit the station and walk east towards America’s Cup Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue, and after a short walk of about 0.4 miles, you will arrive at Ocean Drive.
Public Transit

Begin at the Westerly Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the southbound train heading to Newport. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Newport train station, exit and look for the local bus service (RIPTA) that heads towards Ocean Drive. You can take the Route 67 bus, which will bring you closer to Ocean Drive. Get off at the Ocean Avenue stop, and you will only have a short walk of about 0.3 miles to reach the scenic Ocean Drive.
