    Car

    If you are driving from Providence, take I-95 S towards New York City. Follow I-95 S for about 18 miles. Take exit 3 for RI-4 S toward Narragansett. Merge onto RI-4 S and continue for about 8 miles until it merges into US-1 S. Follow US-1 S for approximately 12 miles, then merge onto RI-138 E towards Newport. Continue on RI-138 E until you cross the bridge into Newport. Once in Newport, turn left onto Ocean Ave. Continue on Ocean Ave for about 3 miles. The Castle Hill Lighthouse will be on your right at 800-870 Ocean Ave. Parking is available nearby.

    To reach Castle Hill Lighthouse using public transportation, start by taking the RIPTA bus #60 from Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence towards Newport. The journey takes about 1 hour.
