Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Providence, walk towards Washington Street. Head northeast on Washington St toward Union St, then turn left onto Union St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with North Main St. Turn right onto North Main St, which will merge into Angell St. Follow Angell St until you reach the intersection with Benevolent St. Turn left onto Benevolent St, and continue until you reach 110 Benevolent St, which is the Aldrich House. The entire walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

• Public Transit - Bus

  From Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence, take the RIPTA bus #1 (Broad Street) or #6 (North Main Street). Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at the intersection of Angell St and Benevolent St. From there, walk east on Benevolent St for about 5 minutes until you reach 110 Benevolent St. The bus ride typically takes about 10-15 minutes, plus the short walk.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing stations. Start from a bike station in downtown Providence and head northeast towards Washington St. Then, follow the same route as walking: turn left onto Union St, right onto North Main St, and continue onto Angell St. Finally, turn left onto Benevolent St and bike to 110 Benevolent St. The biking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes.
