Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with James Street. Turn right onto James Street; the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Bridge will be straight ahead at the end of the street.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From Kennedy Plaza, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #1 or #3. Both routes will take you towards the waterfront area. Get off at the stop on Washington Street at the Providence River. After getting off, walk towards the river and follow Washington Street until you reach James Street. Turn right onto James Street, and you will find the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Bridge at the end of the street.
