Walking
If you are starting from the Rhode Island State House, walk east on Smith Street, then take a left on North Main Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Meeting Street. Turn right onto Meeting Street, and you will find the Providence Preservation Society at 24 Meeting Street, on your left.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Kennedy Plaza, take the RIPTA bus number 92 towards the East Side. Get off at the 'Meeting Street at Prospect Street' stop. From there, walk south on Meeting Street for about 0.2 miles. The Providence Preservation Society will be on your right at 24 Meeting Street.
Walking from Brown University
From Brown University, head south on Prospect Street towards Meeting Street. At the end of Prospect Street, turn left onto Meeting Street. Walk for about 0.4 miles, and you will find the Providence Preservation Society at 24 Meeting Street on your right.
Walking from Waterplace Park
From Waterplace Park, head northeast towards Memorial Boulevard. Take a left onto Memorial Boulevard and continue until you reach North Main Street. Turn left on North Main Street, then take a right onto Meeting Street. Walk approximately 0.3 miles, and the Providence Preservation Society will be on your left at 24 Meeting Street.
