From Kennedy Plaza, head north on Westminster Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Smith Street. Turn right onto Smith Street, and walk for about 4 blocks. The Rhode Island State House will be on your left at 82 Smith St. Look for the impressive dome structure as you approach.

    You can take the RIPTA bus to reach the Rhode Island State House. From your location in Providence, find the nearest bus stop and board a bus that heads toward the Downtown area.
