From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, head north on US-1 North. Continue on US-1 for approximately 12 miles. Take the exit for RI-4 North toward North Kingstown. Merge onto RI-4 North and continue for about 7 miles. Take the exit onto I-95 North toward Providence. After about 8 miles, take exit 6A to merge onto RI-3 South toward West Greenwich. Continue on RI-3 South for about 4 miles, then turn left onto Plain Road. Tillinghast Pond Management Area will be on your right at 50 Plain Rd, West Greenwich, RI 02817.

From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, you would need to catch a bus to the nearest transit hub. Start by taking a bus from the nearest bus stop to the refuge to the Kingston Transit Center. From Kingston, take the RIPTA bus Route 66 (Warwick) towards the Warwick Mall. Get off at the intersection of RI-3 and Plain Road. From there, Tillinghast Pond Management Area is approximately a 1-mile walk north along Plain Road. Please check the RIPTA website for current schedules and fares, as costs may vary.
