Walking
If you're already in Watch Hill, you can reach Watch Hill Lighthouse by walking from the center of the village. Start at the intersection of Bay Street and Watch Hill Road. Head east on Watch Hill Road for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass by several charming shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road, and you'll see the lighthouse at the end of the road. The walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Watch Hill. Following the same route as walking, ride from the center of Watch Hill along Watch Hill Road toward Lighthouse Road. This path is bike-friendly, and the ride should take about 10 minutes. After turning onto Lighthouse Road, continue straight until you reach the lighthouse.
Car
If you are driving, start from the main road leading into Watch Hill, either from Route 1 via Shore Road or from the south via Watch Hill Road. Follow the signs to Watch Hill Village and park in the public parking areas. Once parked, proceed on foot by walking east on Watch Hill Road for approximately 0.5 miles, turn left onto Lighthouse Road, and continue to the lighthouse at the end of the road. Please note that parking may incur a fee during peak season, so check local signage for costs.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Westerly Bus Line to the Watch Hill stop. From there, it is a short walk to Watch Hill Lighthouse. Head east on Watch Hill Road for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Lighthouse Road. The lighthouse will be at the end of the road. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays.
