From any location in West Bay, take Route 114 south towards Bristol. Continue on Route 114 for approximately 10 miles. You will see signs for Colt State Park as you approach. Turn left into the park entrance, which is located at the address Route 114, Bristol, RI 02809. There is no entrance fee, but parking is available.
Public Transportation
If using public transportation, first locate the nearest bus station in West Bay. Take the RIPTA bus route 60 towards Bristol. The bus will take you directly towards Bristol. Once you arrive in Bristol, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 miles) or take a local taxi service to Colt State Park. The park is located at Route 114, Bristol, RI 02809. Be sure to check the RIPTA bus schedule for current operating times.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can take local bike paths to connect to Route 114. Head south on local bike trails towards Bristol, which will lead you to Route 114. Once on Route 114, follow the road to the Colt State Park entrance. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling regulations.
