Car
If you're driving from Alba Iulia, start by heading towards the DN1 road. Follow the signs for DJ107I. Continue on DJ107I for approximately 12 kilometers. You'll see signs for Pădurea Sloboda on your right. There is a small parking area near the entrance of the nature preserve. Make sure to check for any parking fees, although generally, parking is free.
Public Transportation
To reach Pădurea Sloboda using public transport, take a bus from Alba Iulia to the nearby town of Teius. Buses run regularly from the main bus station in Alba Iulia. Once you arrive in Teius, you can either walk (about 4 kilometers) or take a local taxi to reach Pădurea Sloboda. The taxi fare should be around 20-30 RON. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary on weekends.
Walking from Teius
If you opt to walk from Teius, exit the bus station and head northwest on the main road towards DJ107I. Follow the road signs to Pădurea Sloboda, which is about a 45-minute walk. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during warm weather.
