Car
From the center of Alba Iulia, head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 towards Bulevardul Transilvaniei. Continue on DN1 towards Cugir. After about 20 km, take the exit towards DN74, following signs for Abrud. Continue on DN74 for approximately 10 km until you reach the village of Ocolis. From Ocolis, follow the signs for Piatra Bulbuci, which is about a 5 km detour on a gravel road. There is no entry fee to the area.

Start at the Alba Iulia bus station (Autogara Alba Iulia). Take a bus towards Abrud; buses run regularly throughout the day. After about 30 minutes, disembark at Ocolis. From Ocolis, you will need to hike approximately 5 km along a marked trail to reach Piatra Bulbuci. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as the trail can be rugged.
